Welcome To Your On-Line
"Safety Education Destination!"

The Jeff Morris Fire & Life Safety Foundation and Portland Fire & Rescue have teamed up to bring you a remarkable facility known as the "Safety Learning Center & Fire Museum," located at the Historic Belmont Firehouse.

Through this web site, you will learn about history and heritage of Portland Fire & Rescue and how they have served the citizens' of Portland for over 150 years.

Safety, however, is the primary mission of this site and the Jeff Morris Foundation.  Learn how you can live a safer life for yourself and your loved ones. Discover what a Safety Learning Center is and how it fits into an historic firehouse.

Read about the vision of Battalion Chief Jeff Morris and how this facility has become his legacy.

Visit the firehouse gift shop, schedule an event at the firehouse, or otherwise learn about ways to enjoy the facility.

Visit the vibrant and eclectic Belmont Community.  Located in inner Southeast Portland, it offers many restaurants and unique shops to add to your experience.  But the safety community served by the Historic Belmont Firehouse is much larger.  Visitors routinely travel from communities throughout the metro area (and beyond) to experience this unique facility and features.
